MICRO-FACELIFT

Turn the clock back five years on your face in just 20 minutes. This can be achieved by an easy procedure only under local anaesthesia.

The micro-facelift, or ‘one-stitch facelift’ is a modern anti-ageing procedure developed and taught throughout the world by Dr Tiryaki. This approach uses state-of-the-art techniques to refresh and revitalise the face by addressing the sagging that occurs with age. Patients who undergo a micro-facelift generally feel that they look five to seven years younger.

Board-certified Dr Tiryaki removes five years from your face in just 45 minutes with the one stitch facelift.

I heard of Dr. Tiryaki from aesthetician doctor friends who saw many of his surgery’s results. Therefore, I had no questions in my mind when I was going to meet him. I knew that his surgical results were perfect, but Dr. Tiryaki was also a very gentle, clear, interested and deontological doctor. As I was at an early age for surgical facelift, he applied me his unique close face lift technique, micro lift and fat injection and then he applied Toxin treatments for my upper face. I did not even guess that the results could be so good and that it would be so natural. It was the best, the most natural looking face lift surgery I have ever seen in my life. As a patient, a patient’s relative and as a doctor I recommend Dr. Tiryaki to everyone. I am grateful to him and his entire team.

WHAT IS A MICRO-FACELIFT?

It is important not to confuse micro-facelift with cosmetic thread lifts, suture suspensions, skin attachments, or spider webs, where dissolvable threads are placed under the skin. The effects of these latter procedures only last for a few months, whereas a micro-facelift, which utilises permanent sutures, will provide satisfactory results for years to come.

Micro facelift is a subtle, elegant way

to banish the tell-tale signs of facial ageing.

Micro-Facelift with Dr. Tunç Tiryaki

Dr Tiryaki is one of the inventors of micro-facelift procedures – a closed and less invasive face-lift . His approach incorporates sedation instead of general anaesthesia and this novel, one stitch surgical technique to minimize downtime.

Dr Tiryaki will always give particular attention to achieve natural-looking results. During the consultation, he will carefully evaluate your face, choosing the least invasive and bespoke method.

How is a Micro-Facelift performed?

A micro-lift can be described as a type of closed facelift procedure. By entering through a tiny incision, usually located behind your ears, Dr Tiryaki is able to gather and lift the internal tissue. The procedure usually takes 30 to 45 minutes and is conducted under sedation or local anaesthesia.

Dr Tiryaki often recommends that patients combine this procedure with a fat injection in order to restore volume to the cheeks and obtain the most satisfactory results.

Although a new procedure, the micro-lift is already a very popular choice for permanently resolving slight sagging on the cheeks, neck and sides of the jaw.

Who should consider the Micro-Facelift?

With invisible incisions and a short recovery time, the micro-lift is ideal for most people between the ages of 35 and 50 who require only subtle adjustments to reverse the natural signs of sagging. For patients with more severe sagging, a mini facelift may be the better option.

How long is the recovery time for a micro-facelift?

Recovery time is usually quick, with most patients making a full recovery within a week. Small bumps or dimples may form at the surgical entry points; these will disappear after a few weeks. Some patients may also experience headaches for the first few weeks. These can be managed with painkillers. In the event that the headaches fail to resolve, the micro-lift is fully reversible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As with all surgical procedures, patients must abstain from taking blood thinners and limit both alcohol consumption and smoking as much as possible. Ideally, a patient should abstain entirely from smoking and drinking alcohol in the last couple of days preceding surgery.

A micro-lift on its own will take 30 to 45 minutes. Dr. Tiryaki usually combines a micro-lift with either fat grafting or stem cell injections. This combination will generally take around 60 minutes to complete. All of these procedures are performed under sedation or local anaesthesia.

A micro-lift does not require a hospital stay, and the patient can return home a few hours after the procedure. Especially over the first two days, the patient may experience some minor swelling and bruising. The face can be washed the day after the operation and moisturising and anti-bruise creams can be used. Pain should be mild and easily manageable with painkillers. Most patients return to their normal lives after three to four days and make a full recovery within a week. Incisions are minimal and will leave no visible scar. As with all surgical procedures, you should stop smoking for the duration of the two weeks following the operation, and you should not participate in any activities that will increase blood pressure.

A micro-lift restores the tissues that have sagged over time to naturally create a more youthful look. It is not intended to modify the facial features and will not result in a change in facial expression.

Patients may experience some swelling and bruising. If the micro-lift involves the neck and jaw line, the patient may also experience discomfort behind the ears or headaches. These symptoms can usually be managed using painkillers, and should completely resolve after a few weeks. Should the headaches fail to resolve, the micro-lift is fully reversible, even when reversed after a few weeks, the effect of tightening and lifting of tissues will remain to hold.

The procedure aims to take your face a few years back in time, but the ageing process will subsequently continue as normal. A micro-lift should generally be renewed after three to five years. The procedure may not be as effective in cases of excessive sagging or poor skin elasticity, so the ideal patient is between 35 and 50 years of age.

One of the most important advantages of the micro-lift is that it is carried out under sedation without the need of general anaesthesia. Operating under sedation does not require hospitalisation and accelerates the healing process. Micro-lifts also leave no scars, due to the small size of the incisions, and they can easily be combined with other procedures.
